The Clay Emporium is a paint your own pottery studio located in Scarborough. We have a wide variety of pieces everything from whimsical characters and piggy banks, to mugs and boxes (jewelry/trinket), to appliance safe stoneware (including mugs, plates, casserole and pie dishes). You paint your piece, we fire it in the kiln, and within a week you have your beautiful creation back
We are a chance to escape, by yourself, with family or friends and indulge your artistic side. No previous experience is required. You can stay as long as you like (you pay by the piece, not the hour). If this is your first time painting pottery, we recommend you allow 2 hours to comfortably complete your piece. You may finish sooner, depending on the piece and level of detail.
Whatever your occasion or event, have it at The Clay Emporium. From birthday parties for the children or the Ladies Nights (book your own or join us at one of our semi-annual soirees), corporate events (team building), bridal showers, team parties, and school/class visits. The Clay Emporium provides a wide, ever-changing range of stock - there’s something for everyone. Our stock varies, and we cannot guarantee that we will have any particular item at any time. We try very hard to maintain a wide variety of pieces to choose from.
